unbiased
Web application done for COGS 121 - Advanced Human-Computer Interaction Design at UC San Diego.
Political web app with three major functionalities. The Home page allows user to search, based on a location they provide, for their local representatives with the purpose of informing the user of who their representatives are. The Elections page allows the user to search for polling locations near them, based on their registered address and the election that they are participating in. Data visualization for this page is shown through the map on the screen, which populates with pop-up markers of each polling location, including their addresses and hours open. Finally, the Debate page allows users to "Create a Debate" which can be updated with Pros and Cons by any user. The debates can then be added to by any user and will update in real-time, allowing for users to see both perspectives of an argument.
Project uses the Google Civic Information API for both the Home page and the Elections page. The project also uses the Mapbox API in conjunction with Google Maps for the Elections page. Finally, Firebase is used on the Debate page as the database for debates.

Vibe Music
Android application done for CSE 110 - Software Engineering at UC San Diego.
Project idea allows user's to play music from their Android Music library, as well as download songs from the internet. After songs are played, a Firebase database updates to reflect that the song was recently played. Using the user's Google+ friends, the "Vibe Mode" option pulls a queue of the user's friends' recently played songs (based on time, play count) and allows the user to stream those friends' songs.
